Has anyone ever seen a schematic for a Spitfire with reverb, or know of a Matchless amp schematic that uses the same reverb circuit that would be installed in a Spitfire w/ reverb?

I haven’t seen a Matchless version, but I have used foldback reverb on two amps (one is a Lightning) with great results.

I think I remember reading a few posts by other people who added a foldback reverb their Spitfire/Lightning. I haven't heard anything negative about it, either. Do you have a schematic that you could point me to?

Sure, here is the schematic

This one works quite well (this is identical to what I have in my Lightning ), but you can always tweak components to get what you want. One change I would probably make is to use a 50k pot instead of the 25k, for a little more reverb.

IIRC, Matchless used the typical Fender topology for reverb. I think you can just rob it from any of the older Fender schematics.

As in a Twin Reverb? I love the sound of that reverb! Cool. 8)

I didn't compare values, but the 'verb in the Chieftan looked like the blackface topology.

Cool, I'll look at the AB763 schematic and go from there. 8)
