I had a gig last night where the band sets up in a sort of tunnel. I didn't want to mic everything, but I thought I might like to get some guitar in the monitor for the drummer.
As it turned out I angled the lightning and tilted it back and got great coverage of the room AND the stage area.

BTW--amp once again sounded great, this time with my Les Paul, mix of Classic rock, Blues, R&B. Got great snap for funky rhythms, unbelievable thick sustain and controlled feedback for the Santana numbers, all controlled from the guitar--amp knobs didn't move all night--Vol 9:30, Bass 8:00, Treble 1:00, Master and Cut on Full.
