I had the amp open so I finally got around to taking a picture. .. it's pretty rats nesty in there, but it sounds great anyway! :D

There's no hum! there's some hiss when you crank the gain all the way up, but absolutely no hum problems whatsoever...

I guess I got lucky ;) It was only my second build anyway...

the first amp I built, oooh baby that amp had problems.. haha.. this one is infinitely better :) looks better too ;)

my preamp project should look a lot nicer as well... it's a learning process!

The layout was a slightly bastardized version of the one you provided :)

It got moved around a bit because I accidentally put the tubes too far forward so the eyelet board is practically hanging over the sockets, and actually, half of the octal socket for the rectifier is under the eyelet board! :D

Still, I'm quite sure the fact that the amp is so trouble-free is due to the fact that you guys built the board for me ;) All that was left for me to do was to not break it! :D
