It's alive! Just finished checking the amp over and going through the voltage checks ect. Everything seems to be ok. The amp fired up right away and sounds fantastic! Even through the test cab I used which is very dark and mid range heavy.
What a great feeling!
With 6V6 power tubes,
Here are the voltages:
B+1 435 B+2 430 B+3 423 B+4 300 B+5 291
V1 Pin1, 197V Pin3, 1.4V Pin6, 195V Pin8, 1.4V
V2 Pin1, 206V Pin3, 1.4V Pin6, 208V Pin8, 1.36
V3 Pin1, 295V Pin2, 36V Pin3, 60V Pin6, 297V Pin7, 38V Pin8, 60V
V4 Pin3, 432V Pin4, 433V
V5 Pin3, 429V Pin4, 434V
The AC main is 117V
One question I have is: There's a pretty loud static sound when I touch V3 pin 2 with the multimeter probe. Is that ok/normal? Regardless, the amp is running quietly and sounds great.
