sIII is more of plexi tone on the TMB channel with the trem channel of a Marshall 18 watt (sans the trem). It has a little more range in the tone control.
the regular TMB has more gain on the TMB channel. It is quite intense if you crank it. The normal channel is like the normal channel on a Marshall 18 watt.
Where the marshall is like a controled frenzy with lots of mids the lighting is like different. More scooped sounding. Sweeter and more subtle.
You should listen to the clips on the Trinity web sit. I think all 3 amps in question are represented there.
